Join us on September 17th 2016 to spend the day in beautiful downtown Cartersville, GA. We plan to spend the day at he Booth Art Museum and have a catered lunch.
This 120,000 square foot Museum opened in August 2003, and houses the largest permanent exhibition space for Western art in the country. Galleries feature contemporary Western American art, historic Western art, Civil War art, Presidential portraits and letters, Western movie posters, and Western illustration. Sagebrush Ranch is an interactive gallery where children of all ages can learn about art and Western America. The Museum’s Special and Temporary Exhibit Galleries hosts six to ten temporary exhibits per year.

We'll meet in front of The Grand Theatre and WBHF radio station.
10:00am
We'll meet the mayor of Cartersville, Matt Santini, and hear about the history of the radio station, Grand Theatre, and Booth museum.
10:20am
Matt will lead the group through a tour of the radio station and the Grand Theatre.
10:45am
We'll walk from the parking area over to the Booth Museum lobby; meet Jacque Hollis (Director of Events) and Seth Hopkins (Executive Director) for their welcome.
11:00am
Our group splits into two and each follow a Booth Docent on an “overview tour”.
Noon
Lunch in conference room; club announcements during desert.
1:00pm
Our group is on their own to walk back through the museum.
Admission to the Booth Museum will be at group rate, $8.56 per person. Lunch will be catered. We’ll have adult and child lunch options:
