The Mitty at Road Atlanta - April 22rd (Saturday)
We now have finalized details for the Mitty at Road Atlanta on Saturday, 4/22.
Many thanks to Jerry Peters for allowing us to use his shop for our cook out this year.
We'll meet at Jerry's shop between 11am and 2pm for lunch (brats and burgers).
Location:
5289 Winder Highway
Braselton, GA 30517
Please RSVP below to secure your burger and brats!
In the past, we've met along the back-stretch between turns 8 and 9 to watch the race. Bring your chair and libation of choice.
NOTE: For those folks who will already be at the track early in the morning, we're planning to meet up at "Jan's Tree" at 11am to head over to Jerry's shop for lunch.
Jan's Tree is just before 10A on the left side or outside of the track. There is an access road to get to it.

As a background on Jan, he was responsible for getting many current members involved with the SOG in the early nineties. Jan would reach out to many SOG members and make them feel a part of SOG. He would engage you, encourage you, and connect you to others in a way that made SOG a highlight of several folks "car life." He enjoyed making friends and connecting them with hospitality, kind words, technical tips, concerned phone calls or help with whatever called for a friend. The SOG was lucky to have him.
